About the Design
"Down East" prints are from an original acrylic painting on a stretched canvas that was based on a photograph that a close friend of mine took of a scene in Blue Hills Maine.
I loved the photo so much but the photo that was saved on my computer was corrupted and the one print out of it was the only copy I had of it. So in order to preserve it I decided to paint it and try to recreate the photo.
